Cadillac introduced a high performance version of the CT6, the CT6-V at the 2018 New York Auto Show. CT6-V includes a newly developed DOHC twin-turbocharged V8, code-named Blackwing, which produces 550 hp at 5,700 rpm and 640 lb⋅ft of torque between 3,200 rpm and 4,000 rpm. It went on sale in 2018 and stopped production in 2020.
