BMW X6
The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV made by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the first of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. X6 combines all the attributes of an SUV and a styling of a coupe. It is built in BMW’s North America, South Carolina plant alongside the BMW X5. They both share same platform. Before the release of the X7, the X6 was a flagship SUV for BMW.
The first-generation E71 was released for sale in 2008. In X6 BMW’s first used its new Dynamic Perforance Control system.
In April 2009, the X6 M version was introduced to public.
The second-generation X6 F16 was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2014. The model featured a new eight-speed automatic transmission and a larger luggage bay
The third-generation X6 was available in 2019. SUV had more aggressive bodywork including an angular grille which can be illuminated as an option for the first time on a BMW.
