Third generation BMW 7 Series E38
The BMW E38 is the third generation of the 7 Series, which was produced from 1994 to 2001. The model range consisted of standard length and long wheelbase sedans named “iL”.
The petrol engines available V8 and V12 . The E38 was the first 7 Series to be available with a diesel engine initially a turbocharged straight-six, which was twin-turbocharged V8 in 1998.
The E38 was the first car available with curtain airbags.
