BMW 6 Series

The BMW 6 Series is a range of grand tourers made by BMW since 1976. It replaced the E9 Coupé and is currently in its fourth generation.

The first generation BMW 6 Series E24 was available only as a two-door coupe. It was produced from 1976 to 1989, when it was replaced by the larger BMW 8 Series model E31.

The 6 Series nameplate was revived in 2004 for its second generation. The BMW E63 and E64 6 Series, the coupe and convertible body style.

The third generation F06,F12 and F13 6 Series first was unveiled in 2011 as a coupe and convertible. BMW added a four-door coupe body style Gran Coupe in 2012. When this series ended production, the “Gran Coupé”,coupe and convertible models shifted into the more upmarket BMW 8 Series.

The fourth generation 6 Series, the G32 , debuted in 2017 and is offered only as a fastback body style.
